Kohima, January 15 (MExN): The Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) is all set to organize the 1st Chakhesang Open Wrestling Championship on February 8 at Pfutsero Sports Complex with Neiba kronu, Minister, Planning & Coordination and Land Revenue as the special guest.
The championship is open to all the wrestling lovers from across the state and beyond, a pres note informed. The following cash prizes will be awarded: First - Rs 120000, Second-Rs.80000, Third-Rs.40000, Fourth -Rs.20000, Rs.6000 to each quarter finalists, and Rs 3000 to each pre-quarter finalists.
Interested wrestlers may obtain forms from the Sports World, Kohima by paying Rs. 300 as registration fee. One can also contact the CWA officials at 7628843132 or 7085897098.
The last date for submission of form will be on or before January 25. Accommodation will be provided to non Chakhesang wrestlers. Wrestlers and participants are requested to inform the organizers at the time of form submission.
