Phek, February 14 (MExN): The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) has appealed the general public to give their full cooperation during the ensuing construction period without any hindrance.
The CYF in a press release said the two-lane road construction project from Chakhabama to Zunheboto via Chozuba - by MUDOKOM and Pfutsero to Phek via Sakraba - by NHIDCL companies in the area will facilitate long term benefit for all round development of all the neighboring villages and towns, individual or groups.
In this regard, it said that any unwanted elements demanding or extorting or causing damage to equipments and machineries will not be tolerated. Nor will it allow such elements to hamper the live line project in any manner and will take any action deemed fit against such person(s), the release added.
The CYF assured to stand firm with the two-lane Committee constituted by the Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) on any decision(s) taken that will benefit our people, and further appealed the District Administration and PWD (R&B) to act and discharge their duties without any hesitation.
