Chümoukedima, October 23 (MExN): The Chakhroma Youth Organisation (CYO) and Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) held a coordination meet at CPO hall, Chümoukedima on October 23. The meeting unanimously reaffirmed the joint resolution passed by the CYO and WSYF on July 17, 2020 “restraining its members from forming or affiliating with any other organisation without the express consent of the respective parent organisation.”

A joint statement issued by CYO President Seyieneilhou Keyho and WSYF President, Atokiho Sumi said that the joint resolution serves to promote organisational integrity by ensuring that their members remain fully committed to the objectives of CYO and WSYF.

It stated that forming or affiliating with other organisations without approval can create conflicts of interest and “detract from our collective efforts, the prohibition of unauthorised affiliations ensures that our focus remains undivided and that the energy of our members is channeled toward achieving our shared common goals of peace and prosperity.”

“This resolution further ensures that our members remain accountable to the structures and guidelines set forth by the apex bodies. All activities and affiliations should be transparent and in alignment with the vision of the parent organisations,” it stated.

“In light of these values and in the best interest of our organisations, we reiterate that no members of Chakhroma Youth Organisation and Western Sumi Youth Front shall be allowed to form or affiliate with any organisation without first seeking and obtaining the written consent of their respective parent apex body,” it added.
