Kohima, February 4 (MExN): In the backdrop of final representation given to the Kohima district administration regarding prohibition of wastes being dumped in its jurisdiction (for gross violation of Municipal solid waste management & handling Rules 2000), Dapfhütsumia Khel (D’Khel) Kohima Village organised a mass social work on February 1 and cleaned up the Kohima municipal wastes dumping site at Dzücha Pekhro, Phek Road, D’Khel sector and the surrounding areas. A press release issued by D’Khel Youth Organization president Kereisiezo Sachü, on behalf of D’Khel Council warned all concerned that violation of the village prohibition order shall invite severe penalty, as such, it requested all to co-operate.
