Tuensang, June 11 (MExN): District-level Committee for implementation of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA) under Ministry of Tribal Affairs held a meeting with various departments of Tuensang at DC conference hall, Tuensang on June 10. ADC Tuensang, Shelley Katiry emphasised on the significance of DA-JGUA in promoting inclusive development in tribal dominated villages, outlining the main objective is to saturate service and infrastructure in tribal areas across the country through targeted intervention. He said that the Ministry has launched ‘Dharti Aaba Abhiyan-Awareness and Benefit Saturated Camp’ from June 15 to 30 which aims at saturating individual entitlement at the last mile level and to create awareness about DA-JGUA. The objective of this campaign is to create awareness to the people about the importance of Government programmes and schemes where it covers Ayushman Bharat, Aadhaar Camp, KCC, MNREGA, PMAY Housing and various other welfare schemes.
