Morung Express News Dimapur | October 26 Announcing the much anticipated event of the Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA) Youth Ministry, “Youth Olympic 2016” Open, a quarter marathon was held on October 26 with much fanfare and enthusiastic participation from the eight constituent fellowships. The marathon was presented by the World of Titan and Co-sponsored by Oppo. With the total participants of 217, the marathon was held for DABA members under two categories - youth and 40 years and above. The marathon race started from DABA complex and covered Clock Tower via Notun Bosti Junction, Holy Cross junction, Dhobinallah Junction and to DC Court Junction via Midland and finished at back at the starting point in DABA. The youngest amongst male runner was Intenzuker (14 years), Female runner -Merenkala (17 years); and oldest runner -Rev T Ariba Imchen 53 years. The real events for DABA Youth Olympics with the theme “For the Glory of God” will start on October 27 from 8:00 am at the Government Higher Secondary School Ground, Half Nagarjan. It will conclude on October 28.
