Zunheboto, February 5 (MExN): The District Aids Control Programme Unit, (DACPU) Zunheboto held its monthly review meeting cum quarterly review meeting at Conference Hall, District Hospital on February 5.


CMO office Zunheboto, District Media Officer, Shekho Sophie in a press release stated that Dr Aron Murru, DTO cum District Aids Control Officer, Zunheboto briefed the participants to co-ordinate with all vertical programmes. He stressed on the importance of cross referral case between TB and HIV clients. He further motivated the health workers that ICTC and DTC should work together hands in gloves to achieve the target on time. He challenged the health workers to work with dedication, sincerity and commitment.


Dr K Akaho Sema, Dy CMO in his keynote address motivated the health workers to honestly and sincerely perform their duties and advised the staff's to be regular in their place of posting and warned that stern action will be taken to those erring staffs. He talked on the importance of co-ordination among the different vertical programme and take platform of VHND and Church to create more awareness.


He stressed the workers to improve the performance in every field and improve the target and monthly reporting. He further challenged all the staffs to perform duty diligently and encouraged the health workers to motivate the community to come forward for check up. He also informed the staffs to do away with casual and under reporting. 
Hokishe Chophy, DPO, DACPU chaired the meeting. Counsellors and lab technician gave a brief review on their respective blocks performance. The meeting was attended by DY CMO, DTO, MO-ART, DPO-DACPU, DIS, Lab-Technicians, Counsellors, nurses and IEC bureau.
