Mokokchung, July 2 (DIPR): Formal launching of yoghurt (Dahi) a product of Mini Dairy Plant Mokokchung, was held at Mini Dairy Plant on July 1 in the presence of Dr. Rongsentemjen AO, MANAGING Director, (M.D) NSDCF Ltd. and ADC & Administrator MMC, Mokokchung, Bendanglila. The launching programme was organized by Nagaland State Dairy Co-operative Federation Ltd (NSDCF) Ltd.
Delivering the keynote address, MD. NSDCF Ltd, stated that launching of yoghurt is to introduce quality and value added product which will be beneficial to both the consumers and the federation. He also added, that introduction of value added products in the market will be an encouragement to local dairy farmers to increase their supply to meet the demand of the market.
ADC Mkg& Administrator MMC while speaking on the occasion lauded NSDCF for taking up the imitative to introduce new products in the district and also for the quality product of mini Dairy plant. In an encouragement note, he called upon the milk sellers to get registered so that the Government can identify and assist potential dairy farmers in the District.
Earlier, Akhriebou, Manager, MDp Mokokchung chaired the programme while Dr. Mapumeren, Chief Veterinary Officer delivered the welcome address.
Orientation on quality & Clean milk production for Dairy Farmers was also held where resource person, Zapoveswuro, Project Director, NSDCF Ltd discussed on clean milk production while Alangla ARCS Mokokchung discussed on the topic- Role of Co-operative societies in Agri& Allied Department.
