Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama is set to visit Manipur on October 18. The State Government of Manipur is all prepared to host a grand ‘civic reception’ for him in Imphal. The ‘civic reception’ will be held at City Convention Centre in Imphal. At 9:10am on the day, the Dalai Lama will address a press conference, according to the programme prepared by the State Government of Manipur. At 10:00 am, the State Government will felicitate the Dalai Lama followed by welcome address by the Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly. At 10:30 am the Dalai Lama will deliver a speech.
