Kohima Street Carnival as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration organized by Kohima Smart City Development Limited in partnership with stakeholders and other agencies entered the third day here today at Old NST.
Day three event was marked by Street Food Festival & Musical Fair at New NST- Razhu Point and Blood Donation camp.
National Blood Donation Day was organized by Voluntary Blood Donors Association Kohima (VBDAK) as part of its 10 years anniversary. It was conducted in association with Nagaland State AIDS Control Society, Kohima Smart City Development Limited and Kohima Battalion, Assam Rifles and supported by Blood Bank Naga Hospital Authority, All Nagaland Taxi Association, Imprint, Nagaland Motor Cycle Club, Nagaland Adventure Club, NK Square and Ciekhan Fitness Gym.
It also witnessed Street Health Clinic for senior citizens in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer Kohima.
Meanwhile, on October 2, the carnival will witness cyclothon and walkathon from 6: 00 AM at Old NST via D. Block, Open Street Children Carnival at Old NST from 10: 00 AM, Street Food festival and Musical Fair from 10:00 AM at Old NST, inauguration of Child Friendly Neighbourhood at 12:00 noon at Forest Colony, Kohima.
35 persons came forward to donate blood.
