Mon, June 26 (MExN): The Shansham Organization Mon, Nagaland User’ Network, Mon Users’ Network, DAPCU, Department of Social Welfare, Mon and OST Centre, District Hospital Mon jointly organised International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
The programme was held at OST Chapel Hall Mon, with the support from Nagaland State Aids Control Society (NSACS).
The programme was facilitated by Wangai, ORW, Shansham Organization with invocation by Chenki, Fellowship Pastor Tompang Ward Mon, poem on ‘Drug Abuse’ by Loa-o, PE, Shansham Organization.
Longching Konyak shared on the theme, ‘People First: Stop Stigma and Discrimination, Strengthen Prevention.’ Short speeches were given by Longyim Tzudir, DPO, DAPCU; Honpho Konyak, President, Mon Town Student Union (MTSU); Amilo Yanthan, CDPO, Tizit with song presentation by Manjon Konyak and vote of thanks by Ingaupeule Counsellor, OST Centre, Mon. The programme concluded with Manging ORW, Shansham Organization leading the ‘Addict Prayer.’
