DIMAPUR, JANUARY 16 (MExN): On the second day of the ongoing Transformation Crusade, Rev. Shan kikon, Pastor, Faith Harvest Church shared that God’s Love is unconditional and cannot be bought but was given to us freely. A press note cited the reverend as stating that “God wants to forgive, love and bless us but we assume that God hates, curse and judge us which is a deception in which our mind is trapped. “
“God’s Love is always constant and is manifested in the cross of Jesus. We have to share with people the love of God,” he added. He further stressed that “miracles, prophecies and dreams are going to increase and even false spirituality and satanic worshipers will also increase in the last days and we have to decide whether we live in the light or in the darkness.”
He further stated that the Church is not only a building and an organization.” Elaborating more on “Our God is a loving Father” (I John 4:8) Rev. Shan said “There is a new wave coming to Nagaland” in the form of Revival, because God loves the Naga people. He added that ‘Revival’ is a gift from God and cannot come from the world and further shared on the book of Romans 2:4, “........the goodness of God leads us to repentance”. Romans 5:8 “.........while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.
Rev. Shan further explained that repentance out of fear won’t last but it has to be by God’s love and mercy and added that in church history, revival came after God’s goodness was seen and is felt by the people.” Life may not be perfect and churches as well but His love is perfect” John 3:16, he added.
Earlier, Faith Harvest Church led the praise and worship, while Pastor Hovikrol NCRC, PR Hill said the offertory prayer. The programme was led by Zelhoutuolie Zumu, Pastor, Tuophema Baptist Church. It was further informed that there would be counseling from 10am onwards for those having problems in life at the Local Ground.
