DBC impose restriction on “late night party at State Stadium”

Dimapur, May 9 (MExN): The Duncan Bosti Council (DBC) has resolved to impose restriction on “late night party at State Stadium in Duncan Bosti.” This was stated in a press release issued by DBC, chairman, Er Imti Longkumer and general secretary, Dr YY Kikon. 

The Council disclosed in the press release that the “late night party” is going on quite some time almost every night, thereby creating a lot of public disturbance, not only spoiling the peaceful atmosphere in the colony but also disturbing the student community and bringing bad influence in the lives of many youngsters. It has been reported that quite a good number of people with 50 to 60 vehicles assemble and create all sorts of nuisance with drinking, shouting, singing etc as a result of which people in the surrounding area are going through sleepless nights. 

The Council has resolved to take up the matter to the district administrative officer in order to control the situation before it is too late. The Council also strongly resolved to see that the peaceful environment of the colony is maintained. 

All concerned public and youngsters are requested “to cooperate with the decision of the Council in order to maintain peaceful co-existence in the colony and to discourage any such late night merry making, the people concerned involved will be held responsible as per the law of the land.”
