DBC Kohima conducts investiture ceremony

Kohima, September 9 (MExN): The Don Bosco College, Kohima, on September 9, organised an investiture ceremony for the students’ forum for the tenure of 2021-22. 

At ceremony was attended by DBC 5th Semester students along with the special invitee Nigel Solo, President, KVSU (Kohima Village Students’ Union) and his colleagues, faculty and all the CRs and VCRs of the college.

A press release from DDC informed that during the occasion Solo, President (KVSU) while congratulating the students who are assuming new role, urged them work hard and take up responsibilities with moral dignity and fortitude. He enlightened the incoming leaders to work for betterment of college and demonstrate true leadership for now and the future.

The outgoing general secretary, while sharing his experience also urged the incoming team to face criticism with courage to lay a strong foundation for strong leadership. 

The incoming General Secretary, Thulinthong T gave his assurance to fulfill the assigned duty, the release said. 

Earlier, the Oath –taking ceremony was led by Sentuile while the special invitee did the examination of all the new office bearers, it added. Speaking on the occasion, Fr Christudoss sdb, the Director of Bosco Computer Centre, DBCK also encouraged the student-leaders to  lead a virtuous life.
