Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): The Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS) annual Parents’ Day was held on October 19 at the school premises.


Elias T Lotha, Transport Commissioner graced the occasion as the parent representative. He in his speech congratulated the school for paying homage to the parents by through the event. He also said that DBHSS was a gift of God to the children of Nagaland.


He urged the parents to make the best use of the school and motivated the children to be the best person by making best use of the time and the talents God has given. He requested the parents to stand by the children and give quality time to them. 


Fr James TP, Principal, in his school report presented the achievement of the school. He said that the school produced eight ranks in the state and the students are excelling in academic and co curricular activities. He urged everyone to move from Right to Education to Right way of education. 


Highlights of the programme presented by students included remix dance, mono act, piece of melodies, fancy show, move your body, choir piece, choreography, live tradition, thank you to my parents, dear parents, folk song, decades evolution, folk dance, let me grow and domestic chaos. The comperes of the event were Neitonuo Elizabeth and Amar Rai. Fr Innocent P, Vice Principal invoked God’s blessings for the function and the vote of thanks was proposed by Shaji.
