DBs urged to sow seeds of peace and tranquility

The Eastern Nagaland DBs’ Union today conducted tour cum seminar programme at the DC conference hall with DC Kiphire Sedevikho Khro exhorting the gathering and Dr Tinojungshi Chang, ADC as resource person for the theme ‘Identity, Order, Progress.’  

Speaking at the gathering, DC Sedevikho Khro said, “As a guardian and custodian of culture and tradition you are very responsible” and asked them maintain integrity and not to take advantage of culture and tradition as per ones like and make the wrong person right.  

He advised the DB’s to shift the mindset of ‘Me & Myself’ and sow the seed of peace and tranquility because district like Kiphire and Tuensang is inhabited by many communities and small misunderstanding may invite unwanted problem which may hinder the growth of the district.  

He also said, “you are discharging the roles and responsibility which God has given to you” and added, “rules and regulations are all equal everywhere so ne should know the significance of DB’s and perform the duties without fear or favor upholding the truth in ones duty.”  

The DC further said, “If change is to be taken place and if change is to be seen in places like Eastern Nagaland, DB’s can play a great role because they are the backbone of very responsible organization along with ENPO, ENSF and ENWO.” The DC asked the DB’s to accept the challenges and serve the society with dedication and sincerity without expecting anything from it.  

Dr Tinojungshi, ADC while speaking on the theme asked the DB’s to maintain ones identity clearly and also asked them to know ones culture and tradition properly. Earlier R. Muthsodang President ENDBU and Sepithong president GB’s association Kiphire district also spoke on the occasion. Lilongla and friends enthralled the gathering with special number while DB’s Kiphire presented folk song.
