CHÜMOUKEDIMA, SEPTEMBER 13 (MExN): In view of the on-going restorative /maintenance works, all traffic through the Chümoukedima town (Old Check Gate) to New Chümoukedima via Old Chümoukedima village road shall remain closed from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM from September 13 onwards till further notice. During the durations of the closure period, all travellers (light motor vehicles only) from Chümoukedima to Kolima and vice versa may take one of the following alternatives- 7th Mile-Pimla - Mhainamtsi- Medziphema- Kohima, and from Nuiland- Kohima via Ghotovi – Zhadima, a travel advisory issued by DC Chümoukedima informed. All commuters are advised to exercise caution and plan their journey accordingly.
