Kiphire, February 5 (MExN): A meeting of Sector Officers of 59 Seyochung-Sitimi and 60 Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituencies was conducted at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire recently.
Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mohammed Ali Shihab (IAS) chaired the meeting. He reiterated the importance of ensuring Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) in all the polling stations and also stressed that all officers should build confidence amongst the voters in the district.
A press release further informed that the DC & DEO directed all the concerned officers to be in station as regular meeting will be conducted and warned that absentees will be dealt with seriously. He also directed all the Sector Magistrates that no untoward incident should occur due to the failure of the responsibilities by the officers concerned in the forthcoming election.
