Dimapur, August 9 (MExN): The DC Dimapur, Kevekha Kevin Zehol, NCS has stated that there was a circulation in the Social Media that said “DC convenes meeting for Naga Independence Day at Dimapur". In this regard, the DC has stated that he had convened a meeting on August 6, to chalk out the detail programme and also work distribution for the 73rd Celebration of the Indian Independence Day, to be held at the DDSC Stadium on August 15.“The meeting was attended by Head of Departments, Rep. of Commissioner of Police, 5th Assam Rifles, 173 CRPF Bn, 15th IR Mahilla Bn, 1st NAP, NAPTC & PTS.,” he stated, further clarifying that the above news that appeared in social media is totally false.
