DC Kiphire asks govt officials to perform duties sincerely

Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, who is also the Vice Chairman of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), has asked the officers in the district to be sincere in their duties otherwise it will be reported to the government and respective HoDs and necessary action will be initiated.  

At the monthly meeting of the Kiphire DPDB held at DC’s conference hall here on Wednesday, Sedevikho Khro further maintained that government officials are paid to work for the welfare of the people. Therefore, he told the officers to perform the duties assigned and also warned not to delay the works. The DC also expressed regret that the ULB issue had affected the normal official duties all over the State.  

Benjamin, SDO civil who also spoke on the occasion informed that as per new government guidelines every government employee should submit photocopy of Aadhaar card to the bank.  

He also asked the members to contact the administration if any employee do not have Aadhaar card.  

Land Resources department gave PowerPoint presentation on the department activities.  

Grant in aid for school, financial assistance for Morung construction and purchase of combat equipment were discussed and recommended during the meeting.
