Kiphire, June 7 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Kiphire has informed that all concerned Arms Licence holders registered under its office that generation of Unique Identification Number (UIN) has been extended up to March 31, 2023.
In this connection, the DC Kiphire has directed all licence holders who are yet to generate the UIN to deposit their Arms Licences to the DC Office on or before March 31, 2023 for entry into the NDAL portal.
The DC has cautioned that failure to generate the UIN in a stipulated time shall lead to cancellation of the existing Arms Licence and no further complaint shall be entertained for the matter, State DIPR reported citing a DC’s order. The order was in pursuance of Home Department Memorandum, it added.
