Dimapur, February 13 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kiphire, Sarita Yadav has informed all concerned that the (UIN) Unique Identification Number for existing Arms License has been extended till June 29. In this regard, the DC has informed all the Arms License Holders registered under the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire to deposit their Arms License for NDAL entry on or before April 30. “Failing which as per directive shall lead to cancellation of said defaulters License and no further complaint shall be entertained in this matter,” the DC added.
DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS in a separate notice informed that the last date for uploading the details of Arms License and issue of UIN has been extended till June 29. Therefore all Arms License holders without UIN under Mon District have been informed to produce their license and furnish required particulars in prescribed format to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mon latest by June 10. The DC further stated that all Arms license without the UIN will become invalid after June 29.
