DC Kiphire tours Pungro Sub-Division

Kiphire | June 11 : The Deputy Commissioner Kiphire C.M Tsanglao accompanied by the Superintendent of Police Kiphire Asenla Jamir toured the Pungro Sub-Division to get the detail information on EPIC that is going on all over the state.
Calling upon the BLO, Village council chairman, HD GB’s and village elders at in all Hq the DC said, “EPIC assignment going should be clean and there should be no mixture as in the past. Kiphire being one of the best in the recent concluded population census should be clean as you have done and also added I am here especially to tell you about this.” Giving stern warning, the DC said, “After EPIC work is done if there is any anomalies found there will be heavy penalty.”  Observing Khongsa EAC office the DC express displeasure and said, “Developmental activities should be good as the present office is not upto the expectation” and also called upon the people to give co-operation for development.
Addressing the people of Molongmika range of Mimi area the DC said, “Molongmika is going to be very important centre so all nine villages of your range should act as one village so that development work will come.” He further asked the people to co-operate with one another. On the issue of EAC post creation the DC said there are formalities to be followed and suggested them “complete that and things will be ok.” Highlighting on 13 finance commission the DC said, “Benches for all primary schools in the district and diagnostic kid for all the village will be given under this assistance.”
Chairman Mimi village Yangswao who spoke at the occasion where he informed that Molongmika range was created since 1975 and the need to create EAC HQ is considered necessary and asked the DC to look into the grievances. He also asked the SP to create Police Check post to check drug trafficking as Thrange falls under border area.
