KOHIMA, OCTOBER 4 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B. Henok Bichem, NCS, has issued a traffic advisory informing the public of a temporary road closure and diversion due to repair work at the Kohima Garrison area.
According to the advisory, following a letter received from the office of the Commandant, 13 Assam Rifles, regarding the partial collapse of the boundary wall near the main gate of HQ IGAR (North) (Bypass of D-Block), clearance and maintenance work will be carried out.
As a result, traffic movement from Razhü Point Junction to Phoolbari Junction via IGAR (North), D-Block, will remain closed from 9 PM on October 4 (Saturday) to 2 AM on October 5 (Sunday).
During this period, both-way traffic will be diverted through National Highway-2 from Razhü Point Junction to Phoolbari Junction via NST. The public has been requested to cooperate and follow the diversion for smooth traffic management.
