DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 26 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Longleng has informed the general public that due to the prevailing situation in the state, bursting of firecrackers in the district during the Deepavali festive season is strictly prohibited. According to a DIPR report, the DC in a notification cautioned that stern action would be initiated against those violating the order. He also appealed for public cooperation and support for peaceful atmosphere in the district.
