DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Longleng has informed land owners, governmental/non-governmental agencies and other interested parties that land compensation for construction of 2 – Lane Merangkong – Tamlu – Mon road (100 Kms) under phase ‘A’ of SARDP – NE in the state of Nagaland, Package – 1 and Package – II would be credited to the accounts of the beneficiaries/owners within three days. According to a DIPR report, the DC Longleng in a public notice has directed all concerned to clear up/vacate the acquired land, or the buildings or plantations, fisheries or any other structures within the compensated or to be compensated area within one month from the date of issue of this notice. It also informed that after the expiry of the notified date, the acquired land will be taken in possession by the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), MoRTH for construction of the 2-Laning of Merangkong-Tamlu-Mon road (SARDP-NE) immediately without any further notice. This notice is issued for strict compliance by all concerned.
