Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): The National Database for Arms License (NDAL), Portal for uploading the details of Arms License and issue of Unique Identification Number (UIN) to the Licensees has been extended till June 29.
The DC Mokokchung Limawapang Jamir has informed all Arms License holders under Mokokchung district who are yet to obtain the Unique Identification Number (UIN) for their Arms License have been informed to obtain the same from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung before June 29. Without UNI, all Arms License will be rendered invalid. Therefore, all concerns have been requested to apply for UNI within the stipulated time.
Further, as per Section26 of Arms Rule, 2016, the entire old Arms License Booklet will be replaced by the new License Booklet as per category wise. Therefore, all Arms License holders have been directed to submit and replace the License Booklet from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung.
The DC Wokha Orenthung Lotha has also informed all concerned Arms License holders who are yet to register their License in the NDAL Portal to collect the form from the office of the Deputy Commissioner Wokha and submit it before May 31 for early generation of their UIN. The Arms Licenses without UIN after the dateline shall become invalid.
