Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Mon and Kiphire have issued ‘final’ reminder to Arms License holders in the respective district to submit their Arms License for generating Unique Identification Number (UIN). The last date for the entry of UIN in National Database of Arms License (NDAL) is March 31.
According to DRPO Mon, the DC Mon also directed all administrative officers inform all Arms License holders within their respective jurisdiction about to convey the same to License holders.
The DC Kiphire Sedevikho Khro has also directed all Arms Licence holder in the district to submit the same its office before March 31 and no complaint shall be entertained thereafter.
As per the Ministry of Home Affairs with effect from April 1, any arms license without the UIN shall be “considered invalid” and the licence will be deemed cancelled.
