Mon, October 20 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has modified the earlier rates fixed on September 15 regarding the Inter-District movement of commercial passenger vehicles as below:
• Mon-Kohima: Kohima to Mon Bus: 21 maximum passengers out of 34 seats - fare Rs.1050.
• Kohima-Mon: Kohima-Mon Bus: (Sleeper) 8 passenger out of 15 seats - fare Rs.1250.
• Mon to Dimapur: Dimapur to Mon Bus: 21 passengers out of 34 seats - fare Rs.800
• Aboi to Dimapur: Dimapur to Aboi Bus: 8 passengers out of 15 seats - fare Rs.1050.
DC also informed the driver and owner of the vehicle should strictly comply with the above rates and maximum number of passengers per vehicle. Defaulters will be penalized as per the laws laid down.
Further a fine amount of Rs.1000 per access passenger will be released, for any complaints/emergencies, the driver and owner, passenger may contact @ 8837419834, 84130922131, 9436607806 or 9612834940.
“The above rates and passengers limitation will be in force till further notice,” the DC Mon added.
