Dimapur, June 13 (MExN): Mon Deputy Commissioner Thavaseelan K has promulgated 144 CrPC prohibiting movement of public within one kilometer radius of the containment zones – Wangkhao Government College campus and the adjoining Industrial Training Institute (ITI) campus with immediate effect till further orders.
The DC said imposition of 144 CrPC has been necessary to take all required precautionary steps to mitigate the possible spread of COVID-19 for public health, safety and order. He warned that anyone violating the order will be liable for punishment under appropriate Sections of the IPC.
Following the declaration of Wangkhao Government College campus and the adjoining ITI campus as containment zone, the DC Mon has informed returnees housed within the containment zone to contact the helpdesk numbers for assistance – 9612756497/9612180297.
