DIMAPUR, MARCH 16 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Niuland has reiterated for information and strict compliance of all villages and general public under Niuland district, settled along the stretch of the proposed 2-lane road from Showuba to Ghotovi village, that the Right of Way (ROW) dimension is 18 meters in built up/habitat area and 24 meters in uninhabited/unsettled areas from the centre point on both side of the existing road. In this regard, all concerned villages/land owners have been informed to refrain from encroachment, land filling and construction of any new structure (temporary or permanent) within the ROW. No form of compensation shall be paid for any new structures within the ROW. All the concerned village councils have been directed to strictly enforce the same within their respective jurisdiction, the DC order stated.
