Shamator, December 1 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Shamator, Chubatemjen NCS, has issued a notification regarding the acquisition of land for the widening of a section of NH-202. The acquisition is necessary for the expansion of the existing single-lane road to a two-lane road with a paved shoulder.
The affected area spans from Km 130 to Km 140.00, Km 145 to Km 176.00, and Km 176.00 to Km 190.00 along the highway. This move follows the directive from the Department of Works & Housing, Government of Nagaland, as outlined in a letter dated November 29, 2024.
The notification invites any claims or objections from individuals or parties residing within the designated areas in Shamator District. Those with claims are urged to submit them to the Deputy Commissioner's office within 10 days from the date of the notification, which was issued on November 30, 2024.
