Peren, March 21 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Peter Lichamo in a notification has informed all the arms license holders of Peren district that the Ministry of Home Affairs has launched National Database of Arms Licenses (NDAL), an online web category of arms license, which is being implemented. The data is required to be fed online each time a license is issued or renewed and the system generates a Unique Identification Number (UIN) for each license holder which will be subsequently pasted on the license and in the office record. The target date for completion of the exercise has been extended to March 31, 2016.
Therefore, holders of arms license issued and registered by the DC office, Peren have been requested to do the following: Arms license holders who have not renewed are to renew and update it before the last date; Those have renewed and have not submitted for sticker paste are to deposit the licenses to the office for the same; License holders who have deposited and have not collected are to come to the office along with two passport photos of the license holders; Multiple arms license holders are to deposit their licenses with a request letter for consolidation of multiple licenses into a single license.
Failing to comply with the directives, the DC said the office will not entertain any complaint and queries after the last date and the license shall stand invalid as per the implementation of NDAL.
