Phek, August 28 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Phek Orenthung, EAC Khuza i/c Luchui Fithu and District Planning Officer, Akulo paid a courtesy visit to Khuza EAC headquarter on August 25 and interacted with the villagers of Chepoketa, Khutsokhuno, Suthotsu, Metsale, and Khuza.
In the meeting, Tizu Area Public Welfare Organization (TAPWO) President Vechineyi urged the DC to open GA Guest house and Primary Health Center at the earliest.
The organization also requested the DC to expedite the ongoing road construction from Satheri to Chepoketa being constructed under Central Road Fund which is the lifeline of Tizu people and Sumi of Zunheboto.
The DC assured to extend possible help to the people. He further apprised the villagers to avail basic facilities from government with requisite documents and cited the importance of Aadhar card in the present context. DPO spoke on proper planning and cooperation between the government and the public.
Earlier Nuvehu chaired the meeting while T. Lohe pronounced invocation. Meanwhile Village Council Chairmen Khuza and K Khuno also shared their grievances.
