DC Tuensang lifts closure of business establishments, offices

Tuensang, September 1 (MExN): In view of the prevailing COVID-19 situation, all establishments within the main bazaar, Tuensang Town and surrounding areas was closed for a period of seven days vide the order dated August 24 to contain the spread of COVID-19 infection and the area was kept under strict and active medical surveillance.

On completion of seven days period and all contact tracing, Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Task Force COVID-19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has issued order on August 31 lifted the closure of all business establishments within the main bazaar and surrounding areas with immediate effect. All normal activities are allowed to resume as per various SoPs and medical advisories issued by the government from time to time in relation to COVID-19 pandemic.

Lifts sealing of offices
On the completion of 48 hours period and on completion of all contact tracing, the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Task Force COVID-19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued order on September 1 that lifted the sealing of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Office of the Superintendent of Police and the Circuit House, Tuensang with immediate effect. 

All normal functioning are allowed to resume as per various SoPs and medical advisories issued by the Government from time to time in relation to COVID-19 pandemic.

Advisory for self isolation
In view of a front line worker on duty at the inauguration programme of BSL-2 laboratory at District hospital, Tuensang, on August 28 being detected positive for COVID-19.

In this regard, DC & Chairman District Task Force COVID-19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant has issued Advisory on August 31 that all persons who have attended the programme are advised to self isolate and make a self declaration in the following phone numbers: 7066948715/9862329204/7308140011.

Two stores sealed 
In a separate order, DC also sealed the following business establishments till further order with immediate effect: Kamla Store and OM Prakash Store. 

Any violation of the above shall invite legal actions as per relevant provisions of the Law.
