
Zunheboto, September 25 (MExN): The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, has issued a strong warning against the rampant and unauthorized collection of money under the pretext of student registration fees from non-indigenous inhabitants in Zunheboto town.
In an official notice, DC Zunheboto Dharam Raj, IAS, stated that such practices by individuals or organizations are illegal and constitute a punishable offence. He cautioned that strict action will be taken against any individual or organization found engaging in such unlawful activities.
The DC Zunheboto further clarified that the verification of Inner Line Permit (ILP) will be strictly carried out only by the District Administration or other authorised government agencies. He added that no civilian or civil society organization is permitted to impose fines or penalties on individuals in connection with ILP regulations. “Any violation in this regard shall invite punitive measures.”
The DC Zunheboto emphasised that the directive has been issued for strict adherence and compliance, urging the public to refrain from such unauthorized practices.
