Dimapur, April 28 (MExN): The District Cricket Associations of Mokokchung, Wokha and Kohima with the consent and confidence of the other District Cricket Associations – Tuensang, Zunheboto, Kiphire, Longleng, Mon and Phek conducted a meeting on April 26, 2014 at Wokha. The meeting dwelt on certain grievances of the district cricket associations and the “inadequacies” of the Nagaland Cricket Association’s functionary. Some of which are highlighted below. These included election and tenure of NCA officials and selection of different committee members, fund allocation and distribution details to district associations, conduct of Inter-State Tournaments at Sovima and non-conduct of Inter District Tournaments, players’ registration to BCCI and selection of state players of different age groups, opportunity for local players and promotion of the game of Cricket judiciously.
