Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): The Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU) has reminded the autorickshaw owners “not to hand over their autorickshaw to a driver who does not possess proper documents such as union’s uniforms, union’s identity card etc.” All autorickshaw drivers are also directed to wear the uniform and carry the identity card while driving. DDADU president I Vitoshe Sema in a press release stated that while conducting surprise checking, if caught, both the autorickshaw driver and the vehicle will be seized by the union. “Stern action will be initiated against them as per the Union’s constitution,” he added.
