Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): Zakiesato HSS, SD Jain HSS and HMC School won their respective matches on the third day of the ongoing Dimapur District Inter School (Under-16) Cricket Tournament being organized by the Dimapur District Cricket Assosiation and played at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima. In the first match, Zakiesato MHSS crushed Railway High School by 9 wickets. RHS won the toss and elected to bat were bundled out in 11.5 overs for a paltry 33 runs. Kamrun ripped through the RHS batsmen claiming 5 wickets while Vicky took 3 wickets. An unbeaten 20 from Kandan helped ZMHSS achieve the target in just 4.4 overs losing one wicket. In the second match, SD Jain defeated Christian HSS by 3 wickets. CHSS winning the toss, elected to bat and put on 98 runs losing all their wickets in 15.4 overs. Sijal picked 3 wickets for SDJHSS. SD Jain achieved the target in 19 overs losing 7 wickets. Sumit Paul scored an unbeaten 27 and was aided by Ajay who scored 17 runs. Shahid claimed 4 wickets for CHSS. In the last match of the day, HMC School defeated MGM HSS by 11 runs. MGM winning the toss put HMC into bat with the latter scoring 68 runs in 15.1 overs. Abhishek claimed 4 wickets for MGM while Alezo claimed 2 wickets. In the run chase, HMC’s Nashim and Longtusaba picked 3 wickets each as MGM HSS was bundled out for 57 runs in 10.3 overs.
