DDCF appeals to reappoint Lipokmar as NEZCC Director

Dimapur, January 4 (MExN): The Dimapur District Citizens Forum (DDCF) has appealed to the Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya, who is also the chairman of the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India to reappoint Lipokmar Tzudir for another term as Director of NEZCC in order to enable him to complete some of his unfinished works, specially the development/ completion of the Regional Convention Centre and North East Heritage Museum.  

In a statement, Joseph N Lemtur, President and A. Rahman, General Secretary of DDCF expressed confidence that if Lipokmar is given another term as Director of NEZCC “he will definitely work with renewed dedication and will make the citizens of Nagaland proud.”  

The Forum lauded the achievements made by Lipokmar as Director of NEZCC. Describing him as a young and energetic gentleman, it said that Lipokmar in his tenure “ensured that every tribe or community of the region should be proud of their own culture and also made it a point to keep himself connected with different communities and tribes particularly in Dimapur and the region in general for the upliftment of the NEZCC.”  

The people of Nagaland, it maintained, are greatly honoured by the establishment of NEZCC in Dimapur and have been emotionally connected to the centre. “Lipokmar with his dedicated work during his director of NEZCC has made the citizens of Nagaland proud,” it added.
