DIMAPUR, MAY 19 (MExN): The Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF) held its 1st executive meeting on May 13 at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur.
During the meeting, the house voiced out consternation against the traffic congestions, the deplorable condition of the roads, particularly the busy and important stretch from DC junction to Kalibari Road via GS Road and Dillai Gate to Station road via Tragopan junction.
The house also was of the opinion that there were no proper street lights provided along the streets in the heart of the city in spite of every consumer paying street light fee.
DDCF therefore urged upon the concerned authority to address the deplorable road condition along the above mentioned stretch before the monsoon season sets in, provide proper street lights and come up with a better plan to also address the traffic woes of Dimapur City. DDCF hoped that the administration will take note of the above mentioned points and do the needful accordingly for a better Dimapur city.
