DDCF & WCSU on ongoing exams

Dimapur, February 19 (MExN): Dimapur District Citizens Forum (DDCF) has appealed the concerned department to look into the load shedding of electricity (supply) during the ongoing HSLC and HSSLC exams, especially from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm and 4:00 am to 8:00 am “which is usually the study hour for students.”

In a press release from Media Cell, DDCF today, it also made an appeal to the concerned department “to look into the loud noises and nuisances created at night.” It further requested traffic personnel to make arrangements and consider the students in uniform for their safe and timely passage to their exam centres.

Meanwhile, the Wokha Circle Students’ Union (WCSU) in a separate release also urged the citizens of Wokha town to maintain peaceful environment. It appealed to the people to “restrict using loud music entertainment and late night partying” within the town during the examination period.

The union cautioned any individual or group against hampering the peaceful environment. It has further appealed the power department to supply proper electricity during the exams, while wishing the best of luck to all the candidates.
