The Dolhuni Dziivi-u Golato (DDG) Kikramia, a per group of Khonoma organized a felicitation cum thanksgiving programme for Theja Meru on June 28 last at Hotel Japfu Kohima for his recent appointment as advisor Music Task Force Nagaland.
The DDG Kikramia expressed its gratitude to PDA government under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio for bestowing such honour to one of the son of Khonoma.
DDG president Vidilhulie Punyii requested Theja Meru to “put his best effort to push music industry forward in the state”.
Theja Meru in his speech attributed all his achievements and even this present position to God.He assured to serve the people in the best possible way and sought guidance, support and cooperation from everyone. Kenneth Punyii, Akhrie Mor and others also spoke on the occasion.
