Dimapur, September 24 (MExN): The Dimapur District GB Association (DDGBA) today welcomed the movement of Public Action Committee (PAC) under the Naga Council (NC) for taking action against illegal tax collections by various Unions, Organizations, Government etc. The DDGBA in a press release issued by its president Longer Jamir and vice president, Kiyasao Lotha extended their concern and moral support. The Association requested every social organization, tribal hohos and individuals “to voice out and support them as it is for a common cause.” It also cautioned all the business owners “that prices should be looked upon as per tax deducted” and appealed the Government “to look into the issue more seriously for the control and regulation of prices in the market.”
