Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): Dimapur District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with Dimapur Traffic Police conducted Mobile LokAdalat/Motor Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) at Dimapur on March 31.
The Lok Adalat/MVCP was conducted in three strategic parts of Dimapur City- DC Court, Golaghat road and Chumukedima junction. Ajongba Imchen, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary DDLSA, Retainer Lawyer, Panel Lawyers and Officers of Dimapur Traffic Police manned the three locations to identify defaulters and impose fine under the Motor Vehicle Act- 2017, while spreading legal awareness to the citizens of Dimapur through distribution of pamphlets and legal counseling.
A press release stated here that around 1500 beneficiaries through legal awareness and defaulters under the Motor Vehicle Act, 2017 were recorded during the mobile Lok Adalat.
