
Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): The Dimapur District Legal Services Authority 9 (DDLSA) held its refresher training for Panel Lawyers and Para-Legal Volunteers at its Frontal Office, Dimapur Legal Services Authority (DDLSA) on March 9.
The programme was chaired by Tonika Shohe (Panel Lawyer) and welcome address was delivered by Ajongba Imchen, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary DDLSA. Resource Person were R. Limhathung Ezong, Legal Aid Counsel-cum-trainer who spoke on Basic drafting on FIR/MACT/Consumer/RTI, Esther K. Aye, Legal Aid Counsel-cum-trainer spoke on Victim’s Compensation Scheme/Cyber Crime, while Limasenla Longkumer, Legal Aid Counsel-cum-trainer spoke on NSLSA Scheme/Workers in unorganized sectors-Benefits and eligibility.
A press note received here stated that the main object of the said training was to equip and prepare the PLV and Panel Lawyers in basis drafting skills and also make them aware of the various schemes, protections, Approach, prevention and benefits that are made available to the down trodden/common citizen.
The programme was attended by Panel Lawyers of DDLSA and Para-legal Volunteers attached to various Legal Aid clinics, Homes and jails.
