Kohima, June 28 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS has informed all concern departments that the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Kohima will be updating the District Disaster Management Plan (DDMP) for Kohima District. It is to note that any disasters are unpredictable and bound to occur any moment and for which it is an ardent need to develop a District disaster management plan at hand in order to prepare and respond to it.
In this connection, the DC has requested all concern line departments to furnish all necessary information and details such as Data, Man power (personnel), Officer/person incharges, Infrastructures (functional), Equipments (functional) and any other Resources available at their department’s disposal which would be utilized and activated during occurrence of disasters and any emergencies.
In this regard, the line departments have been asked to submit in a systematic format and send the hard copy to this office and soft copy to y-home@hotmail.com on or before July 15.
