Kohima, June 28 (MExN): Electronic New Pension Scheme (eNPS) training programme for all DDOs under Kohima North Treasuries was held on June 27 at the Secretariat Conference Hall with Senior Computer Programmer, Er Medo as the resource person.
DIPR stated in a report that Er. Medo said that eNPS (National Pension System) has been developed to meet the urgent need of the state government to manage the contribution of the departments employees who are subscribing eNPS, and also to subsequently download the FPU (File Preparation Utility) to upload in NSDL (National Securities Depository Limited) portal.
The system will reduce the work load of the departments including Treasuries & Accounts. He said that any contribution from the departments should be in time for the smooth functioning of the department’s work. He also highlighted various new roles of eNPS and urged the officers to follow the new role after training.
Earlier the programme was chaired by Principal Director, Treasuries & Accounts, Tiayanger. The second session will be followed by South Treasuries under Kohima.
