Deep tube well commissioned at CRBC Zunpha

Tseminyu, May 4 (DIPR): Director, Geology & Mining, Wanthang Rengma formally unveiled the monolith of the newly commissioned Deep Tube Well at CRBC Centre Zunpha in Tseminyu Sub-Division in presence of the Executive Secretary CRBC Haiwalo Apon on May 3, which was followed by a brief programme at CRBC conference hall, conducted by Arhunlo Semp, Secretary Development CRBC.  

Wanthang Rengma thanked God for enabling his Department to construct the purposeful Tube Well at CRBC Centre and appreciated the incumbent Executive Secretary CRBC, Haiwalo Apon stating that the successful outcome of the Tube Well at CRBC Centre was due to a humble suggestion once made to him (Director G&M) by Haiwalo Apon earlier.  

The Director also acknowledged his gratitude towards all the responsible officers and staffs in Geology & Mining Department for their sincere studies in the task of the explorations of Ground water and constructions that are taking place in the hilly terrains of Nagaland, during which Wanthang also informed that Geology & Mining was the concerned Nodal Department for ground water explorations in Nagaland.  

The technical report of the commissioning of Deep Tube Well was presented by Khikiya Kath Geologist. S. Manen Ao Jt. Director (Geology & Mining) for Ground Water Cell spoke about the Ground water scenario of Nagaland, during which he also disclosed that the Department of Geology & Mining has commissioned more than 200 Deep Tube Well in the State. He also informed that the Department of G & M has planned for commissioning another 6/7 Deep Tube Well in the current year 2017-18.  

Vote of thanks was delivered by Haiwalo Apon Secretary CRBC, while Invocation and Benediction prayers were pronounced by Rev. Isac Kesen Secretary M & E CRBC and Shani Kath Secretary Women CRBC respectively.
