DEF Mokokchung gets new MI Room

A Medical Intern Room was inaugurated at DEF, Mokokchung by Aotula T Imchen, the Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung on Friday. 

Speaking at a brief inaugural program, Imchen said that the MI room had been a long-felt need. The SP also stated that the MI room is situated at a very convenient location adjacent to the National Highway which would offer First-Aid assistance to those in need, before being transported elsewhere. 

She also expressed appreciation to the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Mokokchung under the then Chairmanship of Tongpang Ozukum, Minister of Housing and Mechanical, for their contribution towards constructing the building and the Medical Department including the CMO and MS of IMDH for their continued support. 

Meanwhile, Imtimeren, Addl SP Mokokchung, who read the project report, said that the building was constructed with the contributions from well-wishers and DPDB while several donors have contributed medicines and furniture. 

The programme was chaired by R Philip Yanthan, SDPO Mangkolemba while a dedicatory prayer was pronounce by Rev Temsu, Pastor, Police Baptist Church, Mokokchung.
